CNN’s Erin Burnett opened tonight, referencing President Trump‘s allies “covering for him” on the “shithole” controversy.

“The President called African countries s-hole countries,” she said, “and it was racist. And tonight, Trump’s allies are trying to pull a fast one on the American people.”

Burnett concluded, “So many people seem willing to compromise their own honesty and integrity for this President.”

She brought up the denials of Senators Tom Cotton and David Perdue.
