How is That Mansplaining? : Chris Cuomo Grills RNC Chair Over Attacks on Cory Booker

CNN’s Chris Cuomo tried arguing the definition of “mansplaining” with Republican National Committee Chairwoman Ronna Romney McDaniel during a Wednesday “New Day” segment

During an interview on CNN, host Chris Cuomo noted that McDaniel had accused Sen. Cory Booker (D-NJ) of “mansplaining” because he called out Secretary Nielsen’s “silence” about whether Trump referred to African nations as “shithole” countries.

“I just think it would have been covered differently if it were a Republican senator yelling or lecturing a woman coming before the Senate,” McDaniel said. “He was disrespectful and he did mansplain to her and she’s an intelligent woman and she’s the secretary of homeland security and she deserved an opportunity to answer.”
