Ex-government prosecutor: Shutdown gridlock is on account of a president who is 'out to lunch constantly'

Following an offhand question and answer session held by Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC), saying Congressional pioneers are endeavoring to cobble out some kind of trade off that will get the administration subsidized once more, a previous government prosecutor said the issue is President Donald Trump is perched staring him in the face and doing nothing.

Talking with MSNBC's David Gura, previous Watergate prosecutor Nick Akerman was gobsmacked by the glaring nonattendance of the president in completing an arrangement that would fulfill whatever it is he is searching for.

"I think the genuine question here is between the official branch and every other person," Akerman started. "We don't have a president that is driving. We don't have a president turning out with a firm approach that is playing a position of authority and pulling every one of the gatherings together here."

"That is to say, this is a first in American history," the exasperated ex-prosecutor shouted. "I can't think about some other situation in our republic where we've had a president who's essentially taken a rearward sitting arrangement and is out to lunch constantly. You can't believe him one day to the following with respect to what he's for, what he's against."

"He began this entire issue by fundamentally killing the DACA that President Obama set up," Akerman expressed. "Better believe it, he's the one that began this. He could have had this entire issue unraveled months prior; we never needed to get to this spot. It's simply because we have an uncouth in the White House, an absence of authority from the White House. I couldn't care less who the staff individuals are, you can accuse all the staff individuals you need. In any case, as Harry Truman stated, 'the buck stops' with the president."
